Sports Media Northwest is owned and operated by Rob and Shannon
Carlson and located in Lake Stevens, Washington.

Rob is a graduate of College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California
where he studied photography and journalism. He has a vast
knowledge of sports having both played and coached for many years.
He has been a sports photographer in the Pacific Northwest for over 15
years, having covered all major professional and college sports in the
region: Seahawks, Mariners, University of Washington, Washington State
University, University of Oregon, Oregon State and Gonzaga.

Currently, Rob is busy shooting sports for the Lake Stevens Journal, Purple and
Gold Pigskin and The Montlake Journal. His work has also been featured in/on
University of Washington Sports Information publications, GoHuskies.com,
Seattle Times online, Pro Image Sports Calendars, KING 5 TV, King5.com and
King 5 High School Game Time. Rob has won multiple sports photography
awards from the Washington Newspapers Publishers Association and the
Washington Press Association.

Shannon has an extensive background in publishing and editing and
spends her time assisting Rob with photo editing and copy, as well as
enjoying time with their seven year old son Andrew.
